The equation in CSA Z462 is not correct. the number 0.6621gIbf should be 0.662lgIbf. I know that new Z462 is coming and hopefully they will fix it in new version.

I have done the manual calculation for the En in accordance with equation D.7.4 (a), The result of En (incident energy at working distance) is much bigger than the result I got from PTW32. I just want to compare the both and see how much different between software result and manual calculation. Has anyone done this kind of verification before and can share any experience in this group? Same problem for E calculation too.

Interesting. Expanded a bit, the equations is 0.662 x Log(Ibf) and is right out of the IEEE 1584 standard. Log is "base 10 Logarithm" To my knowledge, all of the software bases their calculation algorithms on these equations and should result in the same answer.

What were the two results?
