Post subject:  Non-motor loads. What am I missing?
I am working on a model for a double ended sub 13kv/480 that feeds a couple of bus ducts. I’ve set up 5he model to bus duct into 50’ lengths. On each 50’ length I model the bus plugs with a bus and the proper fuse size before adding the cable and then finally a non-motor load to represent for example 480V PDP panel. When I run the evaluation the results don’t go past the fuse/bus plug.

What am I missing?
Should I just model the non-motor load as a bus and select a generic panel from the library?
When do I unline the equipment type and gap in the arc flash table to say switch from a panel to switch gear etc?

Here is a screenshot of a section of busduct. The non-motor loads are 480v power distribution panels. It appears SKM is not including them in the analysis. Do I need to model a disconnect switch before it? Should I just select the node bus at the impedance change an turn it into a bus/panel and stop the evaluation there?

There is a part of me that is thinking I am going a little too detailed with this by breaking the bus ducts up in 50’ sections and including all the plugs and loads individually as opposed to using an aggregate method. Any direction on this is also highly appreciated

Add the panels as busses. They are busses, not loads.
